Ways to Work With Plus the Pups

Your dog is family. This post covers every way to work with Plus the Pups so that when you reach out, you already know what to expect, what is included, and what it costs.

We are a bespoke wedding dog concierge service. We are not a dog sitting company and we are not priced like one. You’ll also notice that we do not offer packages, because your dog is not a package deal. Every experience we design is built from scratch around your dog’s specific temperament, your wedding timeline, and your vision for what their day looks like.

There are currently three ways to work with Plus the Pups. One is for couples who want full concierge care on the wedding day. One is for couples who want their dog woven into the entire weekend. And one is for couples who are handling the care themselves but want a professional plan behind them. Here is everything you need to know about each one.

What Makes the Ways to Work With Plus the Pups Different

Before we get into the specifics, here is what every experience has in common regardless of which one you choose.

We require one dedicated team member per dog, for the entirety of their time with us. One person whose only job is your dog. Not a person splitting attention between multiple animals, not someone who steps away when something else needs handling. One person, fully present, from start to finish.

We show up dressed for your event. Our team arrives coordinated to your celebration, indistinguishable from a well-dressed guest, seamlessly integrated into your day. Several of our couples have told us their family members assumed we were friends of the family. That is exactly the intention.

We bring everything. A clean touch ink pad for paw print signatures on your marriage license. High-value treats. Water dishes. Lint rollers. Towels for inclement weather. Anything the day might call for. You do not think about the dog logistics. That is our job.

And we are honest. If we think your dog should not be at your wedding, we will tell you. That conversation is part of the service too.

The Three Ways to Work With Plus the Pups

The Wedding Day Experience

Starting at $1,800 — local rate

Up to 6 hours of dedicated concierge care, from pick up to drop off. This covers the moments that matter most: the getting ready window, the ceremony, portraits, and cocktail hour. When the time is right, your dog goes home safe, fed, and content. You move into your reception without a single thought about them.

Local rate applies to weddings within approximately 60 miles of Denver or within reach of one of our team member locations. Extended evening coverage is available if your timeline requires it.

  • Up to 6 hours of dedicated care, pick up to drop off
  • One dedicated team member
  • In-person meet and greet included, all associated travel covered
  • Direct coordination with your photographer, planner, and officiant
  • Clean touch ink pad for paw print marriage license signatures
  • All supplies: treats, water dishes, lint rollers, towels, and anything else needed
  • Behind the scenes photos and video of your dog’s experience
  • Safe transportation to and from the venue
  • Extended evening coverage available if needed

The Wedding Weekend Experience

Starting at $4,300 — local rate

Full concierge coverage for every meaningful event across your wedding weekend. Rehearsal dinner, welcome party, the full wedding day, the post-wedding send-off activity, and two nights of overnight care. Your dog is present for all of it, cared for by the same team member the entire time, never handed off or left alone mid-weekend.

This is the experience we recommend for destination weddings, mountain town celebrations, and any couple whose dog is as much a part of the weekend as any human guest. For weddings outside our local radius, all travel logistics including dog-friendly accommodations, flights, and car rentals are covered by the couple. We handle everything related to your dog.

  • Full weekend coverage: rehearsal, welcome party, wedding day, post-wedding activity
  • Two nights of overnight care included
  • One dedicated team member per dog for the full weekend
  • In-person meet and greet included, all associated travel covered
  • Coordination across all weekend events with your full vendor team
  • Clean touch ink pad for paw print marriage license signatures
  • All supplies across the full weekend
  • Behind the scenes photos and video across the full weekend
  • Safe transportation to and from all weekend events

The Dog Day Blueprint

$250

Not every couple needs full concierge care. Some just need a plan. The Dog Day Blueprint is for couples who are having a family member or friend handle their dog on the wedding day and want the confidence of a professional strategy behind them.

Here is how it works. Once you have your wedding day timeline from your planner, we schedule a 30-minute call. We get to know your dog, your venue, your timeline, and your vision. The person who will be handling your dog is welcome on the call too. After the call, we build a custom care itinerary: a written timeline for the dog’s day, specific handling notes, and practical guidance for whoever is in charge so they actually know what they are doing.

This is not concierge care. It is the next best thing.

  • 30-minute strategy call with Hollie, scheduled close to your wedding date
  • The person handling your dog is welcome to join the call
  • Custom written dog day itinerary aligned to your wedding timeline
  • Specific handling notes for whoever is caring for your dog
  • Practical recommendations based on your dog’s temperament and behavior
  • Peace of mind that your dog has a real plan behind them

How to Know Which Experience Is Right for You

The honest answer is that this is a conversation, not a checklist. When you reach out to Plus the Pups the first thing we want to understand is your dog, not your budget or your venue. But here are some general guidelines to help you think it through before you contact us.

The Wedding Day Experience tends to be the right fit when:

  • Your wedding is a single-day celebration and you want your dog present for the ceremony, portraits, and cocktail hour
  • Your dog is social, food-motivated, and reasonably comfortable in new environments
  • Your venue is local or within reach of one of our team locations
  • You want to be completely hands-off when it comes to your dog on the wedding day

The Wedding Weekend Experience tends to be the right fit when:

  • Your celebration spans multiple days and you want your dog present for all of it
  • You are getting married in a mountain town, a destination location, or anywhere that requires travel
  • Your dog is high energy or benefits from consistency with a single caregiver across multiple days
  • You do not want to coordinate dog logistics across the weekend or ask family and friends to manage it

The Dog Day Blueprint tends to be the right fit when:

  • You have a trusted family member or friend who will be handling your dog on the day
  • You want a professional plan behind that person so nothing is left to chance
  • Full concierge care is not within your budget right now but a well-designed plan is
  • You want Hollie’s expertise without the full concierge experience

A Note on Pricing

Our starting rate for the Wedding Day Experience is $1,800. That is more than double most pet attendant companies you will find when you search. The Wedding Weekend Experience starts at $4,300. The Dog Day Blueprint is $250.

We are not priced like a dog sitter or a pet attendant company because we are not one. Our pricing reflects the time, preparation, and presence it takes to do this right. It reflects the meet and greet before the wedding, the coordination with your full vendor team, the early arrival for acclimation, the experience of having been inside more than 140 wedding days, and the judgment calls made in real time when the day does not go exactly to plan.

Our pricing is not meant to be accessible to everyone. It is meant to be accessible to the couples who are ready to truly show up for their dog, the same way we do. And for the couples who are not there yet, the Dog Day Blueprint exists so that no dog goes into a wedding day without a real plan. Notes on pricing from past clients.

This is not for everyone. And that is okay.

Plus the Pups is the right fit for couples who see their dog as a non-negotiable part of their wedding day and are willing to invest in doing it right. Couples who want to hand the care off completely and never think about it again. Couples who want a vendor they can trust without question.

It is not the right fit for couples looking for the most affordable option or who are not yet sure their dog should be there at all. If you are still working through that decision, we’re always happy to give you our honest feedback on a discovery call or read our complete guide first: How to Include Your Dog in Your Wedding (Without the Chaos).

It’s 2026. By now, you have worked a wedding with a dog. Maybe it went beautifully. The bridal party handled it, the dog walked the aisle without incident, and everyone got to enjoy cocktail hour (that is, everyone except for the guest responsible for the dog). Or it went sideways in the last ten minutes […]
